Hall & Oates with Squeeze Rock the Beach, Pulling Muscles From a Shell

By Christine Connallon

Two bands with huge catalogs of iconic songs took the stage at Jones Beach, bringing an enthralled audience back to the 80s, in the best possible way. Kicking off with the gorgeous harmonies and clever lyrics of Glenn Tilbrook and Chris Difford, otherwise known as Squeeze, the night opened with a high energy set that left the audience thrilled and dancing in the aisles. As always, Squeeze put on a show to remember.

Next up were the power duo of Daryl Hall & John Oates who made their way through their extensive songbook for a crowd that clamored for more. Unfortunately, some sound issues happened during their set but the show went on.

Sadly, KT Tunstall, who was part of the tour in the pre-pandemic leg of the tour, had to bow out due to an ear issue. If you get the chance, catch her the next time she goes on the road.

Check out our gallery below and relieve the night.
